Tinker Lab · Last updated May 31, 2026

Tinker Lab is a single-player puzzle game. We designed it to collect as little data as possible. There are no user accounts, no logins, no in-app purchases, and no advertising. This policy explains the small amount of anonymous analytics data the app collects and what it never touches.

What we collect

The app uses Google Firebase Analytics to understand, in aggregate, how the game is played so we can improve it. This includes:

What we do NOT collect

How the data is used

Analytics data is used solely for first-party purposes: measuring engagement (such as how many players reach each level) and diagnosing problems so we can make the game better. We do not sell your data, we do not share it with data brokers, and we do not use it for cross-app or cross-website advertising. Google Signals is not enabled.

Tracking

The app does not track you in the sense defined by Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework: we do not link your data with third-party data for targeted advertising, and we do not share it with data brokers. The app therefore does not show an App Tracking Transparency prompt.

Data retention

Anonymous analytics data is retained by Google Firebase according to its standard retention settings (up to 14 months), after which it is automatically deleted. Your game progress is stored only on your device and is removed when you delete the app.

Third-party services

Firebase Analytics is provided by Google. Its handling of data is governed by Google's Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy.

Children

Tinker Lab does not knowingly collect personal information from children. The app has no chat, no social features, and no purchases. The analytics described above are anonymous and not directed at identifying any individual.

Your choices

You can stop all analytics collection at any time by deleting the app. Because the game requires no account, removing the app removes your association with any collected data.
