Privacy Policy

Lanthorn is a cozy block puzzle game made by JFun. We respect your privacy and keep data collection to the minimum needed to understand how the game is played and make it better. We do not sell your data, show ads, or track you across other apps or websites.
The game uses Google Firebase Analytics (in the iOS app) and Google Analytics (in the web version, where enabled) to collect anonymous gameplay and usage events — for example: a level started, completed, or failed, and which screens are used. This helps us see where players get stuck and improve the levels.
To make these counts reliable, the analytics tools also collect basic technical identifiers: a device-vendor identifier (IDFV) and an app installation ID on iOS, and a standard analytics client identifier on the web, along with general device/app info (device model, OS version, app version, coarse region/language).
Your level progress and the lanterns you've lit are stored locally on your device, not on our servers. Deleting the app removes them.
Analytics is provided by Google. Its handling of data is governed by Google's privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy. If you play Lanthorn on the web via CrazyGames, that platform's privacy policy also applies: crazygames.com/privacy.
Lanthorn is suitable for all ages but is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The data described above is anonymous usage analytics only.
Anonymous analytics events are retained by Google for a limited period (per Google Analytics defaults) and used only in aggregate. We do not maintain any separate database of personal information.
You can stop all collection at any time by uninstalling the app. On the web you can use your browser's privacy controls. Because no account exists, there is no personal profile to delete.
